Aside from the fascination exhibitions and performances, visitors also had the chance to experience first hand, driving the latest BMW cars on Singapore road. Among the BMW models available for test driving were the BMW 2 Series all the way to the BMW 7 Series, as well as the BMW i3 and the BMW X models.
Mantuka.com has personally gotten behind the wheel of the new BMW 420i Gran Coupe and driven it a few blocks around Raffles Boulevard in Suntec City. The car has an amazing capability to adapt to bumpy roads thanks to sensors that could detect bumps or potholes as it pass through.
Tried both the comfort mode for a comfortable, relaxing city drive as well as the sports mode - stiff but responsive acceleration allowing top speed but maintaining stability.
Dashboard display - 6.5in display and can be projected to windscreen so drivers need not take eyes off the road. Motion remote controller - no need to stretch arm to the display, can be done comfortably on seating position while driving.
Wide angle cameras installed on each corner of the vehicle to allow 360 view to aid parking or manoeuvre in tight spaces.
